i walked past a black cat yesterday..
But yes, anyway, i was busy the whole day yesterday. First, our group was working on this film assignment that we were required to do over the holidays and we were taking shots in school for our school scenes. This was our first time working on film, and it turned out to be quite a fun experience! there was a war scene in there somewhere, and since i am the costume designer, i got this 30's style dress and a blouse i had made to let the actresses wear. This took up 5 ours, and we covered 2 scenes in total.. After this we had this class bbq sort of thing. And i forgot to bring shoes to change into, so i wore my hi-top chuck taylors. And this light blue high waisted shorts, with a light green singlet.
so when we got there, everyone else was already present. And then this guy started staring at my shorts and he was obviously thinking i was some sort of freak with a tucked in top. he then proceeded to ask me "why did you tuck in your shorts?" I ignored him, but throughout he kept on giggling at me. WTF. He wore this tight/fitting tee plus really huge pants (that looked like it was going to slip off any second),and slippers with socks on.
But that's not the point. Everyone has the right to dress the way they want to and people shouldn't try to restrict our individual expression! so i continue wearing what i want and he does too!
anyway, i'm going off to the park today to continue with our film. We're all beginners at film, but i hope the film turns our okay!
